Return & Refund Policy
Our 30-Day Return Promise
At Bookish and Travel, we want you to love every purchase! If you're not completely satisfied, we offer a hassle-free 30-day return policy on all items.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
- Returned within 30 days of delivery
- Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
- Original tags and packaging intact
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
- Items marked as final sale
- Gift cards
- Downloadable products
- Items damaged due to misuse or wear
How to Initiate a Return
Step 1: Contact our customer service team at returns@bookishandtravel.com with your order number and reason for return.
Step 2: We'll send you a return authorization and shipping instructions within 24 hours.
Step 3: Pack your items securely in the original packaging (if possible) and ship to the address provided.
Step 4: Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days.
Return Shipping Costs
- Defective or Wrong Items: We cover all return shipping costs
- Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- EU Returns: Free return labels available for orders over €50
Refund Process
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect your return. You'll receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.
Please note: It may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Exchanges
We currently don't offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or color, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the item you'd like.
Pro tip: To ensure you get the item you want, place your new order before returning the original item!
Damaged or Defective Items
We carefully inspect all items before shipping, but if you receive a damaged or defective product:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Include photos of the damage or defect
- We'll send a replacement immediately or issue a full refund
- No need to return the damaged item unless requested
Lost or Stolen Packages
If your tracking shows the package was delivered but you didn't receive it, please contact us within 7 days. We'll work with the carrier to locate your package or send a replacement.
International Returns
International customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Refunds will be issued in EUR and converted to your local currency by your bank.
